House prices reach six year high
Figures released today suggest house prices are growing at their fastest rate in six years. According to research by Hometrack the average property increased in value by 0.4% in May, the sharpest monthly increase since May 2007. Trust purchases four Burnley apartments
Private investment agents Zameero ltd acting on behalf of the Pervaiz Naviede Family Trust have today acquired four apartments on Padiham Road, Burnley at the Eddisons Manchester Auction. The price paid was £125,000 (subject to contract). The properties require some refurbishment and the estimated rental income is understood to be in the region of £17,000 per annum.

LPC welcomes first-time buyer increase
LPC Living has welcomed figures released by the Council of Mortgage Lenders which show a 20% increase in the number of first-time buyer mortgage approvals in a month (according to The Telegraph). In March 2013 a total of 19,100 loans were approved to new homeowners compared to just under 16,000 the previous month. First-time buyer mortgages accounted for 45% of all home loans approved.
