A project to expand Dubai Mall, the world’s largest shopping centre, by 1m sq ft has been welcomed by Arabian Falcon.

Work has been started by developer Emaar who are looking to increase visitor numbers to the retail centre from the 65 million achieved in 2012 to 100m.

One element of the works is to extend the Mall’s Fashion Avenue, which is said will contain “new and personalised flagship stores of the world’s most renowned brands”. In addition, new upmarket lifestyle and entertainment brands are also expected to take up retail space.

The Avenue will be a strip containing foliage-rich walkways with water features, while new food & beverage outlets will be added alongside the Burj Lake, overlooking Downtown Dubai’s fountains.

Arabian Falcon Holidays has welcomed this news as they are in the process of promoting Royal Club Bonnington, (owned by Dermarr Properties Ltd, a company of the Pervaiz Naviede Family Trust) in the Mall later this year.

A spokesperson for Arabian Falcon said “Being in the World’s largest Mall will provide us with an unrivalled opportunity to show the World the best of Dubai”.
